Chas Croslin is a musician and theatre artist living in the Monterey area. He has been performing with El Teatro Campesino since 2006, playing drums and percussion in numerous productions including Corridos!! Ballads of the Borderlands, La Virgen del Tepeyac, La Pastorela, La Carpa de los Rasquachis, Dia de los Muertos and Actos! 2008. Additionally, he co-wrote and performed music for two original Teatro productions, The Fascinatrix in 2007, and Sam Burguesa and the Pixie Chicks in 2009. Chas has also performed with Actors Collective in Monterey, acting in productions of This Ain’t the Outer the Limits, Noses and Ears, and An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein. Chas earned a BA in the History of Art from the University of Michigan and is currently the Box Office Manager for the California State University Monterey Bay World Theater, where he works with Teatro veterano Phil Esparza to provide arts experiences for the surrounding communities.

Katie Hipol has been involved with El Teatro Campesino since 2005 when she participated in La Pastorela as a devil. Since then she has made herself quite at home. Katie has been fortunate enough to participate in Zoot Suit as Lupe Reyna and in La Pastorela '07 and '09 as Gila.  She has also participated in the workshop production of The Fascinatrix as Kauri Ix Chel and the lab production of Sam Burguesa and the Pixie Chicks as Boris the Gnome. She has since offered herself as a performer to ETC every possible moment. In addition to performing, Katie also considers herself a poet, songwriter, and playwright.

Jillian Mitchell is an actress and singer with a certificate in Theater from The Foothill Theater Conservatory and a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts from The University of California Santa Cruz. From a young age she knew she had a passion for music and theater but as she went through college she discovered there was much more to this “calling”. She found that art could be used as a tool to educate and heal. After performing with numerous other cultural theaters groups she found her way to El Teatro Campesino. She had humble beginnings there as a volunteer answering phones, and has now been with El Teatro Campesino for a little over 2 years. She has performed with The Teatro in numerous shows including but not limited to ACTOS (2007), LA CARPA de los RASUACHIS (2008), SAM BURGUESA AND THE PIXIE CHICKS (2009), and LA PASTORLA (2007, 2009) . She is currently an ensemble member and enjoys working with the people that have become her family.

STEPHANIE WOEHRMANN began her musical training at the age of six. She studied classical piano, classical voice, jazz bass and jazz vocals—and was most inspired to pursue music as a career choice by her longtime teacher and mentor Phil Robb. In college she studied with Dr. Charlene Archibeque at San Jose State University. Shortly after college, Woehrmann performed as a recurring lead Soprano vocalist with the San Jose Symphony and was a Soprano vocalist for the San Jose Cleveland Ballet’s production of Carmina Burana.

Woehrmann is the granddaughter of immigrants who migrated from Spain to work in the coalmines of West Virginia and in the fields of Santa Clara Valley. Her grandfather was a member of the machinists union. Woehrmann went to elementary school with many migrant farm-worker children in Gilroy, CA. It was during this time that she witnessed a UFW picket line while out walking with her grandfather—in that moment she was educated on the spot about the value of the union when her grandfather refused to cross the picket line and instead stood in solidarity with the striking workers.

It was this inspiration that brought Woehrmann to El Teatro Campesino in 2004. Under the guidance of Kinan Valdez, she has been the Resident Musical Director of El Teatro Campesino since 2006. Her production credits include; Corridos!! Ballads of the Borderlands, La Carpa de los Rasquachis, Zoot Suit, ACTOS, La Pastorella and La Virgen del Tepeyac. In 2006 she was asked by Valdez to collaborate with him as writer and she as composer. Since then Woehrmann and Valdez have collaborated on two musical actos commissioned by the Monterey Bay Aquarium; Basta Basura (2006) and Watt-a-Waste (2008)—and two full-length musical productions for El Teatro Campesino; The Fascinatrix (2007) and Sam Burguesa and the Pixie Chicks (2009). Woehrmann was named as an artistic associate for El Teatro Campesino in March 2008.

Karla Perez-Garcia was first introduced to El Teatro Campesino in late 2006 by a teacher. Coming from parents who had been campesinos involved in with UFW,  she fell in love with the place and what it represented. Now an ensemble member, Karla has been in productions such as La Pastorela 2007/2009, Sam Burguesa and the Pixie Chicks 2009, La Virgen del Tepeyac 2008, Dia de Los Muertos 2008/2009. Karla is a Senior in high school and in the future, she would like to attend SFSU and major in Theater and/or Mexican-American Studies.

Christy is a current student at the University of California Santa Cruz majoring in Sociology and Latin American & Latino Studies. Christy has been part of El Teatro Campesino’s current acting ensemble for the past 3 years having first participated in the annual Christmas shows.  She has played such roles as “Bertha” in Zoot Suit (2007), ”La Muerte” in La Carpa de los Rasquachis (2008), “Criada” in La Virgen del Tepeyac (2008), and Satanas in La Pastorela (2009). Christy has been an Artistic Associate and the Resident Choreographer for El Teatro Campesino since 2008 having most recently choreographed the Teatro Lab production of Sam Burguesa and the Pixie Chicks (2009).  This past summer she served as the Project Coordinator/Director for STAR Teatro Camp – a summer theater arts program introducing children to the theater practices unique to El Teatro Campesino.
